Kasaka River Lodge

Set on the banks of the Zambezi River, Kasaka is a luxurious tented safari camp just four kilometres from the Lower Zambezi National Park.

What's so special about Kasaka River Lodge?

The river flows the length of the property and there are wonderful views over the water with sightings of buffalo, elephant, hippo and crocodile common. There are a number of options for game viewing: traditional game drives; leisurely canoe safari; river safari navigating the islands and main channels of the Zambezi; or the thrill of a walking safari.

Lodge facilities and rooms

Kasaka accommodates 20 people. The eight luxury tented chalets have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and powerful heated showers. The large canvas safari tent hangs from a roof and stands on a wooden deck. The Kigelia tent has a large private deck overlooking the Zambezi. The Hippo Pod is a luxury family accommodation with two large canvas bedrooms connected by a lounge. Kasaka has beautiful manicured gardens with a swimming pool and colourful plants. The bush side of the lodge is reached by overhead walkways allowing the passage of wildlife through the camp. The main lounge area and deck are set among tamarind trees on the river’s edge.
