Trek to the Lost City

We are delighted to bring news that the end of March saw changes in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's advice for Colombia. Travellers are no longer advised against travelling to San Agustin and the Ciudad Perdida, meaning now is the perfect time to explore this fascinating part of the world!

Steeped in history the Ciudad Perdida - or the Lost City - is made up of terraced complexes, bridges, paths and aqueducts, and the trek to this remote and beautiful site is considered one of South America's classic trips. Take a look at our new suggested itineraries to this relatively undiscovered region, and make sure you beat the crowds.

Tiger Ban Lifted!

Good news this week from our friends in India, as we witnessed their Supreme Court lift its ban on tourism in over 40 government-run tiger reserves. The ban was put in place back in July following complaints and concerns that tourism was contributing negatively on the tiger population. We are now pleased to say that all of our India trips will once again be able to include visits to Ranthambhore National Park, Bandhavgarh National Park, and Kanha National Park to name just a few. Come and talk to us face to face at our Barn Conversion offices in Hampshire. You can pop in on a Saturday morning (with or without your children) for a cuppa and a chat about your travel plans (and we'll keep the kids entertained with a few games too!). 11am is usually ideal, but we do need a few days' warning so please let us know in advance.
